Fun and Involving Projects, Activities and Events!

Whether you are in it for a project or for the long haul, e-co lab wants YOU!  There is plenty of work to be done.   We are currently looking for people interested in volunteering on the Fairview House, this includes the skilled trades, or average people just wanting to lend a hand. Those interested in working on the Fairview House should contact mike.kernagis@e-colab.org

Additionally we are searching for dedicated people to fill the following positions at our office:

Grant Seeker - goes out and finds the grant opportunities and helps determine if we qualify

Grant Writer - does actual writing and applying for grants

Materials Donation solicitor - solicits materials donations for building projects from both large and small companies

Publicist - Prepares flyers and other documents for e-co lab events and home ownership opportunities. Works in conjunction with website manager and Prospective family consultant

Prospective family consultant - Speaks with families who have expressed interest in owning a home, determines if they qualify to work with us and walks them through the loan application process

Construction industry consultant - maintains relationships with local builders interested in learning the techniques that e-co lab promotes, and learns of new techniques that could be useful in making Passive Houses.

Volunteer Coordinator - Maintains contact with current volunteers, finds new volunteers and determines if they will be a valuable part of the organization.
